OUROBOROS atones

The consistent OUROBOROS was a dominant victor of the 1200m Class 4 Handicap at Eagle Farm on Saturday.
Rider Damien Thornton left nothing to chance, sending OUROBOROS straight to the front from barrier four and the pair never looked threatened, crossing the line with 2.25 lengths to spare.
The win atoned for an agonising defeat first-up at Doomben on August 26, when the 5yo gelding was nabbed in the shadows of the post by southern raider SPYWIRE.
The former Victorian-based galloper has now won twice since switching to the Hoysted stable earlier this year and remains lightly-raced with only 11 career starts which have yielded three wins and six placings.
A son of HARRY ANGEL, OUROBOROS was a $200,000 yearling purchase from the 2022 Inglis Classic Yearling Sale and is raced by Trilogy Racing and Mr Scarborough.
OUROBOROS was the second leg of a winning double on Saturday, following the explosive debut performance of stablemate LARADO at the Gold Coast.
