Consistent mare RICH MINX won as a $1.50 favourite should at the Gold Coast poly track meeting on Saturday.
The chestnut 5yo faced six rivals in the 1100m BM65 and left them in her wake, winning by an official margin of 5.8 lengths.
Stable apprentice Fiona Sandkuhl, who provided RICH MINX with a 3kg weight allowance, left nothing to chance from barrier one as she led throughout the contest.
The last 600m time of 34.72 was not surprisingly the quickest of the meeting.
A daughter of RICH ENUFF, RICH MINX has now five of her 12 starts and placed on three other occasions. She is a home bred for Lavin Park who also raced the dam CAPETOWN HUSSEY - an eight-time winner from 33 starts.
