DRAGON LINK blazes to maiden victory
Thursday, 15 Oct 2026

A beaten favourite in his three previous career starts, DRAGON LINK was a thoroughly deserved maiden winner at Eagle Farm on Wednesday.
Once again DRAGON LINK was the bookies elect ($2.50) when resuming from a spell in the 1000m dash but this time he justified his place in the market with a walloping 4 length win under Jag Guthmann-Chester.
One possible explanation for his lofty standing with bookmakers is the fact he has won all three of his public barrier trials by a combined margin of more than 13 lengths.
The latest trial success came at Deagon on September 29 where he put up 3.25 lengths on two rivals before repeating the dose with dominant on-pace performance on Wednesday.
A 4yo son of FARNAN, DRAGON LINK is a half-brother to former stablemate WITH INTENT, who showed ability but unfortunately had her career cut short by injury.
The breeders Kenmore Lodge had DRAGON LINK entered for the 2024 Magic Millions Horses In Training Sale but was withdrawn before being privately acquired by the Hoysted stable.
